I wish someone would do a study to see if azithromycin is really needed or if hydroxychloroquine + zinc is sufficient. I’m talking about for early treatment.
What I am working out is that there are two narratives that drive the medical professionals dealing with this. One is that from the ICU & Hospital Staffs who are dealing with patients that are intubated. And, the other is Physicians dealing with folks who are sick but still ambulatory or just in a hospital bed.
These are very different statuses with respect to how much HCQ or Zinc can do. This specific episode discusses this with respect to a study done covering patients treated in late March and Early April.
