I believe the economy will recover much more quickly than anyone has predicted, because the root cause of its collapse is not economic in nature. There will be casualties but also lots and lots of opportunities. Trump can then claim complete credit for the rapid rise in the economy and he can also claim credit for the rapid rise in the economy before the corona virus that Obama was trying to claim. He can show quite clearly that tax cuts and deregulation are the causes of a good economy.

Makes good sense, Laz.  Sound reasoning, unique angle.   Trump has been battle-tested by the crisis -- and showed the leadership it takes.  People remember that.

And I also agree with you, Jimmy.  The economic fundamentals are there.  In fact, any company that can't survive a one-month crisis would probably fail in the next 12 months anyway.  Actually 70% of new NYC restaurant businesses never make it past 12 months.

Fresh and robust businesses will arise out of this crisis.  And families got a month's paycheck from Uncle Sam -- enough of a break to look around and find a better opportunity.

Who knows: maybe Atlanta employers will relax the need to drive Monday to Friday through Atlanta's insane traffic.  Will tele-commuting become a viable alternative?

Interesting observation. I like it.
