Exactly - I’ve never heard of this person but it says she didn’t know gender - no ultrasound at all possibly? Or she may have requested not to know gender.
Labor and delivery wards are probably one of the safest places in the hospital right now, they get to bypass the ER.

maybe they didn't have access to an US....

I would guess that a baby that big also had some other health issues, such as was the mom diabetic?

That’s what stuns me. Her OB/GYN should have been screaming from the rooftop at her plan.

I assumed she would also have already been in contact with her child’s future pediatrician, who should also have been screaming about her plan.

It wouldn’t surprise me if either of those doctors had her sign a wavier freeing them from blame.

So sad her son paid the ultimate price of her decision.
