Do you mean to imply that laws actually have to be passed by an elected legislative body then signed into law? Who came up with that idea?

An Executive Order carries the weight of "Law" and is a power of a duel elected Governor>
But I can find no such law (Executive Order).
All I can find is Governor Reeves strongly recommending we wear masks, and NOT a requirement to wear a mask in a grocery store.

Now I did find DEMOCRAT Meridian Mayor Percy Bland said businesses and shoppers MUST wear face coverings when the stores open.

The STORE can require you wear shoes and a shirt for hygiene.
They can certainly insist you wear a mask for the same reason?
