Many Democrats who once loudly proclaimed that we must believe all women when it comes to sexual assault allegations are now changing their tune. Democratic Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, a potential vice presidential pick, is one of them.
CNN’s Jake Tapper asked Whitmer on Sunday why she believes Joe Biden’s denial of the alleged assault but did not extend the same courtesy to Justice Brett Kavanaugh over allegations from Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.
“Just because you’re a survivor doesn’t mean that every claim is equal,” she said.
“I have read a lot about this current allegation, I know Joe Biden, and I’ve watched his defense and there’s not a pattern that goes into this and I think for these reasons, I’m very comfortable that Joe Biden is who he says he is,” she said on “State of the Union.”
“And you know what? That’s all I’m going to say about it. I really resent the fact that every time a case comes up all of us survivors have to weigh in. It is reopening wounds and it is, take us at our word, ask us for our opinion, and let’s move on.”

It’s worth watching the interview. Yes, she’s not very bright but it’s instructive. Note that she speaks a variety of sentences, very few of which follow from the one before. It’s not exactly a stream of consciousness, it’s a kind of stream of pat phrases which are connected not by logic (as in a paragraph) but by how they sound.

Maybe the Democrats could put out a list of abuses in a particular order.Id love to know where fondling children ranks with Democrats.
Did she speak truth to power?
Did she say that all women matter?
Did she condemn the oppressive old boys network that tolerated such shenanigans for a century?
Did she ask Congress to turn over the list of Congressmen and women who had sexual harassment and abuse claims hushed up with a twenty million dollar slush fund at taxpayer expense?
The same people standing with Biden in DC are on this list. No doubt. Release it and expose the hypocrisy. Wonder if Sleepy Joe is on it. Schumer has fielded such allegations. He said he was pursuing a legal charge against the woman. I never heard of any resolution.

Governor Whitless is right, all women’s sexual assault accusations aren’t the same.
Brett Kavanaugh had (and retains) a spotless reputation as an upight man when he was falsely accused of sexual assault, Joe Biden can’t match that.
In addition, Biden’s accuser - Tara Reade - has corroboration and isn’t intentionally vague about the time and place of Biden’ alleged assault. She told people what happened at the time but Biden’s clout made it impossible for her to receive justice.
Her mother’s recorded phone call to Larry King about the incident, even without naming Biden, is substantial and should carry weight to Reade’s accusation.
Democrats know all this and are hoping the complicit media will bury Reade’s story and Biden can lie his way out of it.
While that may still happen; with all his other negatives, Biden is clearly damaged goods and should deservedly lose, big-time - to President Trump in November.
