Nation of Denmark says reopening didn’t increase spread of Covid-19
The mainstream media loves Europe, mostly because they hate America. I’m interested to see how they’ll try to discredit the news from that most progressive corner of Europe – Denmark.
Danish officials just made a bombshell announcement – since they started reopening in mid-April, the spread of Covid has not accelerated.
The Washington Examiner reports:
Officials in Denmark say that loosening coronavirus lockdown restrictions in mid-April has not accelerated the spread of coronavirus.
Denmark began reopening daycare centers and schools for children two weeks ago, followed by hairdressers and other small businesses, and health officials have not noticed an increase in coronavirus cases, according to Reuters.
“There are no signs that the COVID-19 epidemic is accelerating,” the State Serum Institute said, which is responsible for infectious disease preparedness.
This changes everything. If reopening is not accelerating the spread of the disease, why are we still closed down?

How many of those were already going? Fact is the live concert audience of a city is a very small percentage. Same with sports. Movies is a more significant percentage, but even then probably less than half. Without asking if they were going to these events before this is a lies, damned lies and statistics.

People will got to concerts. They can watch movies at home.
When they watch a concert at home they are watching a video of a concert performance. They might as well be watching porn or Woodstock. They aren’t actually there.
A movie is a movie whether at home or in a theater. The movie will play out exactly the same for an audience of 2000, 5, 1 or even none in a empty house.
Same with visiting museums. Virtual tours of galleries are no different than looking at a catalog of famous works. You are looking at a reproduction on paper or screen.
I guess people won’t eat at restaurants either because they can look at pictures of food on the internet.
Close them down, then shutter them up.

I won’t be back until the product improves significantly. A reimagined remake of a remake of a badly done original is not worth the price.
I’m currently taking care of my Mom, so I have to be careful, even of a plain old cold or flu. If that weren’t the case, I’d be inclined to actually brave a trip to Disney World. Can you imagine being there at only 30% capacity and not having to wait in two hour lines for everything? I’m personally not afraid of catching the beer flu. Even at 50, it’s 99% or more likely I’d be OK. I’d just hole up in my nerd cave until I get better, then I’d be over the Beer Flu BS.
