I think that there are a huge number of baby boomers, who are in the process of giving up on working. I think that their reduced market value savings will cause them to think hard about the need to rejoin the work force in a few months, but for the moment they have given up on work and will not be applying for unemployment.

I don’t get your logic here. Even if they don’t expect to go back to work, why not at least try to sign up for unemployment? The federal top-up alone is almost $15k.

I suspect well see a whole lot of legalized theft take place under this provision. I believe that 501 (c) (3) educational organizations are eligible for these forgivable loans. Leftists frequently set up these educational organizations to conduct their propaganda. So now we taxpayers will be financing their operations. I believe that the various lobbying outfits KNOWINGLY helped with the language of this legislation so that it could be exploited. And were talking about NANY, MANY, BILLIONS!
