I’m wondering if that tweet was Trump responding to the Fauci waves to the press. Two can play that game. He forced Fauci to have to respond about voluntary comments. I also seem to remember a few briefing earlier when Trump and the army guy (can’t remember name) were not briefed about a report and Trump was paying back for that issue.

Pretty sure Trump already knew about the report, and it was a trap. He immediately looked at Fauci and Birx, and said, "These are the people that write the reports. Have you seen the reports?"
Trump knows a lot more than he lets on. Remember when Paula Reid asked about retaliation against China, and he said, "You're probably the last person I'd tell." He was letting her know he knew her husband was a Chinese lobbyist. When the WHCA sneaked the Chinese spy in, Trump asked her what outlet she was representing. He already knew she was with a China controlled outlet.
