I was definitely one of the few running around celebrating Easter a lil early while shopping.
Most were masked and filled with fear.
It’s literally like living in a foreign culture. Everyone running around so full of fear, I don’t know how to act around them.
I’m the “jerk” who rolls up on people in the grocery store. Not on purpose! I am just going about my business, as usual.
Some very young couple, masks, gloves, was mesmerized by hamburger meat and i sneaked my arm in to grab 1. What could they be looking at? you can only take 2, and it’s all the same grind.
They looked at me like i was a pus covered leper. The store clerk who was stocking gave me a huge grin, however.
