We’ve got a lowes just west of here. Its a good store. Just curious, is the apple fest still going on every year?
Small small world it seems, I really miss that beautiful country. The smell of sycamore, tubing down the medina. Ran around Kerrville and Ingram at night trying to find touble back then lol. Used to go to cryders midnight rope a ho.

Medina is a nice town. The Apple Store is our place to get home made apple ice cream, apple butter and more.
I used to head down to bracketville every couple of years as well. We would top the border next morning and go bird hunting. Back before you had to have a passport. Those were the days.
There was a time maybe mid nineties that the Apple festival was the best. All the food you could imagine, live bands, tons of kid activities and a black powder competition. The cafe used to be on point as well. Just pretty country in general, sure miss it.
