Which means you’ll be putting innocent people at risk of serious illness or death. You’re ok with that?
Not if they’ve been vaccinated...what’s your point?

_____________________________________________

What vaccination are you talking about? This is currently NO vaccine for COVID 19.

Yet Flubros WANT to get to get infected, so they can open the USA for business.

A typical Flubro is no better than Typhoid Mary.

So, you admit to being an anti-vaxxer and then ask: How is this relevant to the Flubros?

It's a further demonstration, if any is needed, of the fact that the leader of this nascent FR sub-cult is an anti-science kook who subscribes to all sorts of weird and discredited ideas?

This was the original comment:

Are you saying that you'd refuse to be vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine, one that proceeds safely thru a peer reviewed clinical trial?

So...

Yeah. And the original answer is NO.

This anti vaxxer thread is filled with Flubros who would REFUSE a vaccine if available and offered.

And...

Would happily take their infected and infested selves out in the general population in the meantime.

Typhoid Mary’s.

You got that right.

And if you haven’t noticed, plenty of the pro-COVID anti vaxxers here also post on the Qtard threads.

Go Figure.

I’m curious, would you have it so that all people must have a vacine(this disease or otherwise) assuming they weren’t in some risk category or similar that precluded that? Simply, would it be better if everyone had to get a vacine that could safely?

I have the utmost disdain for anti-vaxxers (I was around when the polio vaccine was introduced). I don’t suffer fools or anti-vaxxers. I don’t necessarily want to force them to get vaccinated any more than I want to force them to wear seat belts.

Quite simply - your choice to be vaccinated ends when your ignorant choice affects me.

Perhaps its time to make mandatory flu shots to reduce the 45,000 deaths from influenza each year.

Or either punitively tax those who do not or tax credit those who do.

Interesting, I was just curious where You stood. I sure hope you are pro life and pro 2a, those are two I’m big on. If I had to get a flu shot and give up my gun same day I would be pissed lol. By the way, I have been vaccinated for many things(army said I had to :-) but the one and only flu shot was a disaster. Ended up with pneumonia from that. That being said, I am real skeptical about flu vacs and possibly whatever comes down the road, but most importantly I respect another persons right to choose.

It’s a balancing act, to be sure.

I believe if you don’t immunize your children, you are an idiot and halfway there to having the state remove them.

But that should be a parent’s choice. Just like it Society’s choice is to deny them entrance into a public school where they could infect other children.

If you don’t wear seatbelts or a helmet on your motor cycle, then yeah. You’re an idiot. Do you smoke? Same thing.

Problem is - your idiot choices costs normal people money.

/just a few random observations

I get where you are coming from and others that are commenting on this thread too. My brother and his wife are totally anti vaccine for themselves and their children. Do I agree with it? Not completely, but it’s their decision. My daughter was immunized and went to public schools. They did home schooling. All are mostly grown and no issues so far. To each their own. They view the world in a certain way as do I. The art of arguing these issues is to understand the common ground and eventually agree to disagree on the remainder. The whole flubro thing in my mind is a thread to look at the impacts other than the disease this is having on our country or will have. Too many are wrapped up in every single story on the virus spread. I dont want the pinko plague or even a head cold for that matter, but I am also not willing to starve or ruin my lifes work just so some floks can have a false sense of security. The show must go on and the economy function or we will die.

Based on your screen name, I post a RIP to Joe Diffie who sang that song and died last week from COVID 19.

My life really hasn't changed with all this. I still go to the store, still buy fuel at the station, still go feed cattle every couple of days ect. I am exposed no matter what I do as are lots of folks. I dont wake up shivering scared every morning worried about anything. Life must go on. This plague is so miniscule compared to the threats we face every day, and yet we sacrificed the largest economy we have ever had. I know two small businessman that have tapped out already, and no amount of govt loans will help when the 6 month economy figures look pretty bleak.

I looked at your FReep page.

I live 15 miles the other side of Bandera. Still work in San Antonio.

Things are so much calmer, so much better in Bandera. We don’t have to line up outside the Lowe’s Mkt.

Mrs. R2 and I did go to Sams Club yesterday in San Antonio. To buy basics like we usually do every 3 months. We managed, but.... sheesh!

We’d have been better off at the local Lowe’s Market.

On a brighter note, at least gas is cheap! My apologies to anyone in the oil and gas industies and their shareholders. I bought some 1.34 a gallon off road diesel today.
