Any person, or persons, violating the provisions of this section, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than Fifty Dollars ($50.00) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period of not exceeding one (1) year, or by both such fine and imprisonment.

To heck with that. I’ll be one of the last holdouts on mask wearing. I won’t say never, because with Herr DeWine making rules on a whim, some kind of draconian mandate could be in the works.

It sounds dumb. Unfortunately it’s accurate. There’s already some reports circulating. “Black guy with mask” scares some people. Remember the guy that had picked up a toy gun at WalMart to buy, some customer freaked out “black guy with gun”, cops, craziness. I think he actually got shot. One way or the other, there’s a few too many people out there sceeert of every black man, which can make things a bit dangerous for them.
