Why pick on black men. They rarely commit crimes.
But I also thought it would have that affect on people and LE, regardless of the skin color. A bandana wrapped around someones face is just ominous looking, when worn by a young male, period.
Now store bought face masks whose purpose is clearly intended to protect someone from breathing in foreign elements would not cause the same knee-jerk reactions.
From what I have seen around here, black men are not hesitant at all to wear a mask. I don’t think they will have any interest at all in endangering their lives to support this idiot’s bleeding heart.

So if a black yute, wearing a mask while robbing a convenience store, is shot and killed by the proprietor, will this be counted as a c virus death?

If his supporters wear one, Big Media will tell us it’s PROOF that they are recist, homophobic, etc, and really REALLY bad people, and they’d inform us the masks are substandard. All Rats and plenty of Republicans would believe them, because it’s related to THE VIRUS and seemingly not DIRECTLY political.

I overheard a woman on the phone telling her friend she told her sons to stay in their homes and off the streets now because if the cops see them there's a "different standard for black men."
What she was really admitting was her boys normally run wild.

I experienced some bad looks by local police flanking a walmart entrance, in a wealthy white / indian / muslim area, about two weeks ago.
Was wearing patriotic untucked t shirt as cover garment, person-of-non-color face, beard, baseball cap, mask, and nitrile gloves.
They should be alarmed by mask and gloves?
Or were they were looking out for patriots, not so much the shoplifters (the walmart is right on a bus pipeline to/from the city) tolerated by that walmart location for many years?
I would feel safer encountering a shoplifter than this phalanx of excessively-employed sub/exurban police.
I have a statistically relevant observation
The only times I have been threatened with
guns, knives, or mugging was by persons who met three criteria
Male, age 16-25, and black
The only person I know personally who was raped and murdered,
was by the same strange statistical cluster...
I cannot bring myself to drop my guard when those three criteria are met
