What we need is a standard for when this ends. We need a measuring stick, but no one is willing to give one. That’s the problem with these stay at home orders - they have no sunset for when (or if) they’ll ever be lifted. Which is insane - what politician wants to lift it and then get buried in ‘my grandmother died’ stories?
Since it was mostly the governors (and county health officers) who started this snowball rolling, it’s probably out of Trump’s direct control for the moment.
All in all, I’m shocked it has gone as well as it has. I seriously expected this last weekend to be watching helicopter footage of looting. Might get that this weekend with the ‘enhanced’ stay at home orders which are starting to roll out.

The libs I have seen on local FB groups have been saying we must do X, just for two weeks and then we can finally end this since early March. Then a week or two later we must do X and Y for just two weeks and end we stop CCP Virus. Repeat as necessary.
You are right, they don’t have a end date, or even a plan to end it based on certain conditions as far as I can tell. They are simply hoping people will simply comply and somehow their lock down will stop it. When/if that doesn’t work, I don’t think they have a plan.
Some Governor started the lock downs and thee rest just followed like sheep hoping it will work.
