Had to go with the new mac and cheese... which ain't bad.
A lot of companies are doing this. More doing that than not.
Actually their Mac and cheese is impressive. It’s overpriced as hell, but it’s awesome considering it comes from a fast food joint.
Yep...the mac & cheese is the best I’ve had of any fast food versions.
Haven’t heard what my local CFA is doing for payments. The local owner-operators do have some control over certain things. It may be a local thing for you.
Yup - the lady at the local KFC yesterday stuck the card reader out the window and asked me to swipe my card myself for payment. Makes sense - paper money is notoriously dirty.
I’m not surprised, but I don’t trust fast food right now. It only takes one person in there who is asymptomatic and doesn’t know they are infected.
So I’m cooking.
I don’t like the idea of using a credit card at a fast food place.
That would be a shame for someone that only showed up with cash.
I am thinking cash has more germs. I am not sure why they would do that.

We’re not eating any restaurant food - fast, or regular - either.
I haven’t seen the conclusive studies, yet, saying CV can’t harbor on food, once it’s prepared and being packaged.
My Papa Murphys Pizza is doing the same thing. I use the debit and the drive through on $10 Tuesday. Then again, I always did.
Best to, if possible, order ahead and pay via app. No contact payment.

Nah...as soon as he read about their new Mac & Cheese, he rushed off to try it.
I got one last hurrah of LJS back in Feb because I was squeamish about that, but if I did get some takeout today, I would nuke it for 2 minutes and that would kill off any potential bugs.

They gave me a laugh... because they put the bag of food on a tray and then hold the tray out as far as possible and then have you grab it.
Makes me feel like I have the Bubonic plague.
