Good idea, TG. Remember when the Orioles played that game a couple of years ago without the fans (because of "civil unrest" in Baltimore)? It was ... well ... weird.

Thats not going to give them a seasons worth of revenue. But a shortened season of, say, 130 games is better than no season at all.
In any event, cancelling the whole season would fall under force majeure.
Maybe. I have no idea what the force majeure provision of the agreement between MLB and the networks says. Do you?

The City of Pittsburgh went around and took down the basketball hoops in all of the parks. I lived in a town where the mayor did that as a crime-prevention measure ... and crime plummeted as a result.
