In the meantime you can plug in a usb keyboard.
Who’s the idiot that sprayed it?
No it’s not.
I have washed keyboards in hot water for coffee spills and dried them with the use of an air hose and warm oven (150°F) for overnight or longer..
Try this and it should be okay....................

Good selection, affordable prices.
Couldn’t hurt, right?
I killed an apple keyboard by spilling vodka on it.
I spilled rum/coke down the back of a TV once (turned off at the time)...let it dry for a few days and it was fine.
409? I destroy mine with beer!
409? I destroy mine with beer!
That’s because you didn’t drink PEPSI.
Had it been PEPSI, the PEPSI SYNDROME WOULD HAVE KILLED THOUSANDS...................
I have washed keyboards and brought them back to life too.
if you have a soapy film inside it then it needs to be rinsed away
If I remember correctly I literally washed a half a can of soda out of it in in running warm water, and held it on end so all the water would drain down, and I may have even done a final ‘rinse’ with alcohol to rinse away the water and have it evaporate faster
Then left it standing upright on one of the long sides upside down in the oven overnight with just the pilot light and a crack open on the door
Hey- if it’s already broken, it might be worth a try.
Alcohol rinse! that’s a good idea!..............
At least it died happy!
It appears that your CAPS lock is malfunctioning too.
My buddy used to refurbish old machines. He used 409, scrubbed the hell out of them with a nylon brush, rinsed them off well with warm water and let them dry. Unplugged, of course. Next day or so, they were fine. Just got to get the cleaner residue off of it and let it dry.
hair dryer did not work
I used my 409, now I have the fastest keyboard in town...

Just saying..
I hope you’re happy! I just wasted a perfectly good Clorox wipe cleaning my keyboard!
No hair dryer won’t work. It cannot get air into the switches and other components to dry them. If you have access to an air hose, like at a gas station, use that with a nozzle.
The keyboard must be drained well, rinse with alcohol to eliminate the water then drain very well in a well ventilate are like the patio. No smoking, no candles, no sparks as alcohol is flammable.................
