I have a relative coming in from another state to stay with me. I am at risk and have been isolated. How do I introduce him into the home, 2 week quarantine? In Garage? Cannot find a camper. Ideas??

Tell him you have corona virus. Hopefully he will think otherwise about visiting. This is also a good remedy for a visiting mother-in-law.

Getting a test with a negative result is only good at that point in time, and needs to be repeated at least twice more to confirm that he doesn’t have it and just not showing it yet. If he just got done traveling to you that adds to his risk, such as gas stations etc. Again reschedule the trip!

Would putting a couple of space heaters in the garage be feasible? Granted, flammable liquids would need to be isolated from the garage or at least from the heaters.

Put him up in the garage for two weeks, keep 6 ft distance, put food out side the door for him and he can do the same for you. Do you have a laundry sink where he can wash his hands?

We are all deadly serious. My wife and I volunteered and worked at the Life Care Center in Kirkland for years. I take this very seriously as well; I was made fun of for weeks on this forum for sounding the alarm early. People such as yourself should be self isolating. The rest of us should be going about our business as usual and not exposing people who are at risk. I was trying to point out to you in a way that would get a reaction that your worst fears about turning down your relative are silly. Sorry that I did not use a sarcasm tag.
