Marc Hadden and his wife tried turning to adoption when doctors said a third pregnancy would be too risky. The couple was devastated as they hoped to add a daughter the mix. Then Marc, a firefighter, responded to call where a woman was in labor. Doctors told him the baby would be put up for adoption immediately. Forty-eight hours later, Marc and his wife brought home the little girl they named Gracie.

I know its used throughout media, but I quibble with saying someone "delivered" a baby...the mother pushes the baby out and the baby is born...that's the action....the mother delivers her baby and others catch the baby....
catching a baby is not delivering....
