Bernie Sanders may have missed his chance to finally head the Democratic ticket, but he still holds considerable clout.
Which is why Joe Biden was busy wooing the Vermont socialist’s supporters this past week. “Senator Sanders and I may disagree on tactics,” he said. “But we share a common vision.”
That’s good to keep in mind as the media try to cover up Mr. Biden’s recent leftward lurches and convert him into a “moderate” to seem less scary in November.
However, they’re both heading toward the socialist cliff, just in different vehicles. Bernie’s is a red Ferrari, while Joe’s is more like a red bus with “No Malarkey” on the side. Same road, same cliff. Different speeds.
There’s nothing “moderate” about either of them. Well, Joe’s hair is not as wild.

Yes they are but bernie doesn’t have “considerable clout” anymore.
Or he’d be losing be 3 or 4 percent and not blowouts like it’s been.
And the vast majority of bernie’s supporters are in states that were gonna go to the dem anyway.
He’s just a grouchy, cussing, miserable old man now.

Years ago, a writer for The Oregonian wrote an editorial in which he described Ruth Bader Ginsburg as a moderate. Really. When the whole COVID virus thing calms down, the media will emerge as more hated by the American People than any other group of lowlifes. They will be seen as enemies of the people.

The so-called “Liberal Media” (there’s nothing liberal about these people) is a propaganda machine for the Democrat Party. It’s that simple.
One of Trump’s accomplishments has been to use the bully pulpit to take on the media and expose them for who they are, their political relationships, their lies and irresponsible journalism. He has caused major damage to the facade that they have been hiding behind since post-Watergate.
He ended the fake White House Correspondence dinner from the get-go. Media gets a leftist judge to say CNN Asscosta cannot be denied a chair at the WH briefing room, fine - no more media briefings by his Press Secretary, they can shout their questions to POTUS, faces unseen, with the helicopter humming in the background. He is now the most media available POTUS in the history of this country. He has no fear in dealing with them. They look weak when they cross the line, writing articles that no one reads about how he hurt these “brave defenders of democracy’s” feelings.
So this article states what we all have known for a long time as the demokrap-media complex playbook. Everything done by stealth and lies. I love our freedom to see and expose these frauds.

Democrats need labels to define themselves whereas Conservatives are, well, Conservative. Dem’s need labels like: moderate, progressive, centrist, etc. and Kerry comes out saying we shouldn’t label people.
A good sign of that is that the apocalyptic communists for Sanders promising to kill people if he was booted are super quiet
"Red" meaning "left-wing," "Ferrari" meaning "goes very fast," I guess, but can you really see Bernie in anything other than an old, broken-down VW van?
I don't thing many people are calling Bernie a moderate. They call Biden a moderate because, for all the left-wing positions he's taken on social issues, they don't think he'd threaten the financial industry or globalization.
