But the death rate is more important.

If those numbers are right, that flu killed just a tiny %. We’re talking .01% or so.

This thing is currently at about 1% for US. WA throws off our rate a lot, but basically not much more than 2%.

Not real impressive rates, I guess, but much higher rate than H1N1 going by those base figures.

i would agree with you but as more and more confirmed cases come to light as more people get tested, that death rate will drop...the hysteria created is nothing more than another attempt to defeat our President but it will fail like all the rest as he’s proving to be more than up to the task...

Also, while bad, H1N1, actually is just the flu. It was part of the regular flu vaccine quickly. We still don’t know if a vaccine for a coronavirus is even possible yet, so that adds tremendous uncertainty. H1N1 was bad but known problem. Covid-19 is unknown.

Here’s the problem with you trying to minimize H1N1: The total set starts out at 60 million people infected. Now multiply that by .01%. What’s that number of deaths?
6,000 dead people. Gee, thanks Obama. Guess the Press gave him a pass, huh?
