It is like people that buy gen sets for hurricane season and then return them after the storm. Should not be allowed
Anything you buy anywhere may have been returned. That’s life.
The good news is, they’re stocked up for the next couple of years.
Greed is bad. Who knew?
By restocking it, they could potentially be exposing someone else.
That was my reaction. In fact, I can hardly believe anyone ever allowed returns on things like this, Coronavirus or no.
What will be the lawsuit?
No store is required to accept returns.
Who returns rice and toilet paper?
So they bought 10 rolls of TP and now have buyers remorse? Tough cookies
That’s called price gouging and is illegal in most states during declared emergencies
> Toilet paper lasts. No need to eat it.
It can get moldy. It’s made to deteriorate rapidly in moisture.
I went to Costco after Y2K didn’t happen. Long return lines. Not just generators, but peanut butter, potato chips, etc. It was comical.
It will rot in a couple years
I think this is good and it really doesn’t affect me, but I don’t know how they can enforce the policy after the fact. If the policy was not in place when someone purchased, how can they refuse the return?
Sounds good
Thank you. That was my suggestion to retailers, pposted last week. People will bring all kinds of beat up merchandise back when they find they cant resell it on line.
They are now letting seniors in early two days a week.
A friend of mine was going to line up but they pulled her in as a senior to shop early
She was slightly crushed at the thought of looking over 60.
She said she wished they did it all the time. Nobody was running her over and she could easily shop.
“Good, let the panic hoarders eat their toilet paper.”
That would be very good fiber for them!!!
Increase the fiber in your diet. Yum! </sarc>
