There’s a difference between the typical family trust, and one in which somebody has no control over.
Who would put their money in a trust where they don’t control the majority vote?
The mega rich, such as the Rockefellers, the Sulzburgers...to guard against do nothing profligate wastrel descendants creating legal battles that last forever.
The Trustee has control. That is their job.
and btw, if you ever want to save your assets from Medicaid...you might want to rethink your philosophy .
