Hong Kong learned how to manage this from their SARS experience.
Schools have been closed there for nearly 2 months now. Supposed to open in April but we’ll see.
Positives and their contacts are REQUIRED to stay home for 14 days. IIRC it’s jail time or huge fine to break quarantine.
They’ve been testing testing testing since the outbreak began and have done full contact tracing where possible.
We’re way way way behind HK’s game.
Looks at tha ratio. About 50 confirmed per death.
And...because they were the most impacted by SARs, they locked down right.
A few people dead on the streets made them real compliant.
They dont need to learn twice.
