Ilhan Omar’s new husband officiated at his own marriage to the leftist congresswoman, their marriage certificate reveals.
DailyMail.com has exclusively obtained the certificate which lists Tim Mynett as both the officiant and the bridegroom at the ceremony.
It has been legal to conduct your own ceremony in Washington, D.C. since 2014, and that is what Mynett appears to have done. Such marriages are also allowed in Colorado and Pennsylvania and are recognized in other states.
The total expense would have been $45 - $35 for the license and $10 for the certificate.
The certificate shows that Mynett married Omar on Wednesday of last week - three days after his 39th birthday. The ceremony took place in John Marshall Park right next to the Moultrie Courthouse where the couple obtained their marriage license.

Does the license require witnesses also? Suppose Omar died under mysterious circumstances or something and a relative of Omar challenged the validity? Would Mynatt be unable to testify due to conflict of interest?

This is all about “spousal privilege.” You cannot be forced to testify against your spouse.

I recall Ilhan paid $578K to her "spouse" out of her campaign funds. She now owns half of that - community property.
In essence, she put $339K from her campaign warchest into her own pocket.

Mynett pocketed $7,000 for fundraising consulting before her campaign hired his consulting firm.
I gather that’s when he fell madly in love with the ragheaded slimeball.
Since 2018, Omar’s campaign paid about $586,000 to Mynett’s E Street Group for:

This woman is a disgrace to our Congress and her constituents. She is playing her own relatives and self-serving needs to gain political position. If it wasn’t for the racist Somalia district she represents, she would have been laughed off the stage. It’s all about race and ethnicity for so many. Her buddy AOC is of similar ilk.
This woman is Tonya Harding II. The towel on her head deflects criticism.
