Liking your “old fart” addition.

Thank Right Wing Assault, it was his suggestion...

How can anyone use “cases” as a valid data point? So many not tested.

My feelings exactly.

ICU cases and deaths are probably the only valid data.

It's why I feel the metric above may have merit.

Boggles the mind. Closing businesses, discouraging any group gatherings, keep 6-10 feet away from people.

THEN

Allow air travel, wait in lines of hundreds of people for a TSA agent to run his gloved hands all over every person, go through their pocket contents and personal belongings of these lemmings one at a time over and over. Then put them all in a metal tube with a closed environment recirculating the air over and over. THEN finding out TSA agents carrying the virus at work.

BUT

Tell the same people they cannot go to a bar, mall or restaurant because they might get too close to others.

I hope it does not become seasonal, that could lead to 60 being the average age of death. We need to lower Social Security age to 50.

But they won't because then the people will get their money instead of the government keeping it.

It’s like they think Trump is an idiot.

And they have access to ALL the info Trump does.

The governor begging for supplies this morning almost made me cry :(

I am having a blast. No cars on the road this morning. No line at Dunks, and no one in the grocery store.

If you aren’t having fun...you are not doing it right.

is your teen on birth control pills? grandkids incoming! And your daughter will be having them the old fashioned way...no epidural! Hope she doesn’t need a c section. Cemetaries from the 1800 and early 1900’s are full of mothers who died without them.

My sister will be grateful for retirement from 30 years of working in labor and delivery. My niece just graduated with her BSN. Waiting to take her boards. It will be a very different working world for her.

The best resource for case numbers, IMO, is https://flutrackers.com/forum/. They’ve been doing this for 14 years, and are usually ahead of the worldometer and jh site.

My niece used to work for this company before she started her PhD in Chemistry. Great company to work for. She wishes she was there now.

Nursing wasn’t for the weak spirited before antibiotics, transfusions and the like.

Pediatrics didn’t really begin as a field until the wide availability of antibiotics. There really wasn’t any point.

You are getting it in spades today...from names I haven’t seen before. Hang in there. The folks at the front of the column take the arrows.

In many college now, for the pre-req courses, students don't need to participate in the dissection of fetal cats, etc. They can use a simulator but I understand it is not easy and very challenging to pass.
