Youtube video ^ | 01-01-1979 | David Byrne

Original cut from 1979 (almost typed in 1917), Talking Heads album "Fear of Music".

TOPICS: Cheese, Moose, Sister; Conspiracy; Health/Medicine; Music/Entertainment
KEYWORDS: paranoia; war
Timely? Maybe, maybe not. In either case music is more eloquent than vanity prose.

No:

this is much better 8>)

Though I admit the live version of the Talking Heads song was better than the studio version of it. 8>)

This was in their The Name Of This Band Is Talking Heads album, which used concert recordings instead of studio music in the original version, which I think was superior to the revised version.

It has crowd noises, and Byrne’s brief music intros. Despite some choppy editing, it really boosted the band’s popularity.

OUTSTANDING. Great song and group. When things get horrific my mind often defaults to music for relief (as many know from my posts). I don’t handle stress well. Fortunately I’ve only been in 2 face-to-face very stressful situations and those were way back in high school. It was FIGHT or FLIGHT. I was always a very fast runner. On those occasions I took the former. Something went off in my brain.
The bullies were left as a face-bloodied mess on the ground. I’m 2-0. I’m not a tough guy, I’m a nice guy. I do stay in shape and am more aware and prepared for situations. I’m old. Father time is undefeated with a lot more wins.
