Vice President Pence and Secretary Azar Add Key Administration Officials to the Coronavirus Task Force

Today, Vice President Mike Pence and Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar announced the addition of the following individuals to the President’s Coronavirus Task Force:

• Dr. Ben Carson, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development

  Dr. Stephen Hahn, Commissioner of Food and Drugs

  Kelvin Droegemeier, Director of The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy
   
  Last week, the Vice President announced the addition of Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin, Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams, Director of the National Economic Council Larry Kudlow, and Coronavirus Response Coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx to the task force. Dr. Deborah Birx is a huge asset to have on the President’s task force. I saw her on this evenings news conference. Every one of the task force ,members expressed their unfettered joy taht she was on the team. She has cracked the whip, tying them all together on how they will handle the detection and follow up on community cases of Covid-19. The testing regime in this next week will be vigorous across the nation.

Birx is the jewel in the crowd. Our country is most fortunate to have her,for many reasons not the least of which there is a possibility that Covid19 was artificially created.Her military immunology experience will be invaluable.
