I guess I can kind of understand why the homos are upset. After all, it’s the only other parade in town besides theirs where men wear skirts.

As an Irishman I oppose Gaylicks marching in our parade!

In spite of being Irish I've only been to one saint Patrick's Day Parade....the one in Manhattan. Seeing it progress up 5th Avenue past Central Park was quite impressive. And it was a few years ago...before the perverts were allowed to participate.
I'll never attend any such parade where pervs participate...which,I assume, means I'll never again attend one.

I never understand the desire of homosexuals to force themselves into unrelated events.
As noted, the parade is not a parade of sexual identity, sexual expression, or any of that.
Heck, isn’t that what the Gay Pride parade is for, for them to express themselves?????
Even though I’m sure there are “gay” Irish who want to be in a St. Patrick’s Day event, the point if it is not that someone is a homosexual, the point of it is to celebrate the Irish heritage and even the Catholic Irish identity of St.Patrick. The point is not to be overtaken by homosexuality at such an event.

Good! It’s a behavior.. Not a race, color or creed.

Our parade is for Irish heritage and culture, he told the newspaper. It is not a political or sexual identification parade. Good for him!!!!!

It’s plain and simple. You don’t do for one group what you can’t do for all. If they let one group in, they’ll have to let others, so it’s just prudent not to let any in.

Funny thing is that Ireland until recently had a gay and married PM and St. Pats is a secular day.
The Irish on Staten Italy are about as Irish as I am. Many would say it is a good thing.

One website descrbed frigging as obscene. I thought frigging was a replacement for an obscene word.
