Almost died of E. coli antibiotic-resistant septic shock with multiple organ failure five years ago. I was on a ventilator for 16 days, in the ICU for 21 days. I am astounded by this news. Do all the ERs and ICUs now know about this? I hope?
NO...they do not know...or would not do it, unless your family could get them to do it.
