As the government has funded much of health care, established all encompassing rules and regulations, and has increased dramatically the power of its bureaucrats, the independence of hospitals, physicians and their traditional professionalism has been compromised dramatically. They are now seen and treated as cogs in the machine. BTW with the advent of electronic medical records, there really is no such thing as privacy.

The public has spent 40 years attacking Physicians via elections. Now, the public’s advocate for health care are treated and starting to act like corporate assets. That means the patient isn’t the primary concern, making the corporation happy and the paperwork right is more important than the patient.

Rethink your attitudes, vote for people and freedom.
