To: Gay State Conservative

I guess the question is:. Can we admire and honor achievements of people, even if they aren’t conservative?

Or, alternately, if they are too liberal for us politically, does that cancel out everything else they may have done in their lives?

I can't. OJ will always be nothing more than a guy who basically decapitated the mother of his children. I couldn't care less how many touchdowns he scored.yards he gained,etc.

And the Senior Senator from Chappaquiddick will always be nothing more than a pig who allowed his girlfriend of the moment to drown (or suffocate) slowly while he was on the phone with his political advisers.

I think we can. Doing otherwise puts us on the same level as they are with their cancel culture. But acknowledging their achievements does not mean we should defer to them.
