If it isn’t taken off the finger it won’t be lost. That said my daughter and her husband wear rubber wedding bands when they work.

My dad never wore a wedding ring. Married in 1950. He said if you work with your hands you can lose a finger.

my husband and I have not worn our wedding rings in about 40 yrs..his because of his work and mine because my fingers swelled so much during my 2nd pregnancy and my knuckles never seemed to get over it...now there just knobby.....

but I still have my HS ring and I cherish it.....
