I just bought a new laptop that came with 10 Home that I upgraded to 10 Pro.
Regadless, it still sucks .. damned cartoon menus, that silly Cortana chick, etc.
Am currently debating whether to wipe 10 and install 7 Ultimate or Pro.
Have Ultimate or Pro running on all the other boxes on my home net.
Added a 2nd ssd to the lappy, so might install 7 on it and dual boot.
I REALLY wish MS hadn’t f’d with 7 !
You may find that you can’t get device drivers for Windows 7 on a recent (last few years) laptop. Like network, audio, fingerprint ID, camera, etc. Microsoft put a lot of pressure on device manufacturers to only provide support for Windows 10 after about 2016.
