Now it’s gonna get carried over here by the rain and we’re all gonna get infected like when they used the atom bomb in one of those “..living dead” movies.
I’ll have to get an umbrella!
Is there really no end to this climate change fraud?
If true, so what? That’s one way to eradicate a virus.
***alarming levels of SO2 mass around Wuhan***
OMG! ACID RAIN AGAIN!
Sounds a little nutty. Hubei province has over 50,000,000 people. That’s a couple thousand people dying per day normally. Unless I’m wrong, cremation is the norm in China, isn’t it?
I read this morning that China is no longer officially counting patents who test positive but are asymptomatic. I’m not sure if this will create a Typhoid Mary scenario, or if they can’t spread it in this state.
Ok Everybody....Bar-B-Que dinner at Xi’s house. BYOB.
My feeling (hopefully wrong) is that, they are also ending the lives of those who now have fevers, and who are being picked up (presumably to take to hospitals for care... but who would ever know?).
Scroll down to a satellite image. Interesting if true.
I wonder if they bought carbon offsets?
Can they still harvest organs from a coronavirus infected corpse?
A 100 pound human contains a bit less than 5 ounces of sulphur.
Bring Out Your Dead
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
If a quarantine saves just one child's life, it's worth it.
You rang?
At no point in history has any government ever wanted its people to be defenseless for any good reason ~ nully's son
Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping!
To get onto The Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping List you must threaten to report me to the Mods if I don't add you to the list...
Silly article. Sulfur dioxide is one of the most common industrial pollutants.
A screenshot from a live map by Czech-based weather service Windy shows SO2 levels in Wuhan at a staggering 1,350 micrograms per cubic meter (µg/m3) over the weekend. To put things in perspective, a dosage of 500 µg/m3 of SO2 should not be exceeded for more than 10 minutes, as per the World Health Organization (WHO). A 15-minute exposure to 533 µg/m3 sulfur dioxide is considered to be ‘high’ by the UK government.
Tin foil hat stuff, indeed. 50 million people staying home all day in the middle of winter using lots of extra electricity, so all the extra dirty Chinese coal fired electrical plants are burning more of the high sulphur coal they use over there.
Clue #1: Windy.com. does not track sulfur dioxide, and none of the Windy.com's maps for Wuhan show anything close to the image twitter.
(Am I the only Freeper who checks anc evaluates sources anymore?)
Currently, the real time World Air Quality Project shows Wuhan's SO2 level in EPA AQI equivalence as a 6, varying between 3 and 14. I don't know how to convert that to other measures. From the WACQ data, Wuhan's SO2 pollution looks pretty low compared to the other types.
