This is an "ambitious" challenge, which can still be tackled, the president believes.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky plans to introduce for Ukrainians the opportunity to vote in elections online, including with the use of a smartphone.

"In general, our goal is to allow people to pursue relations with the government using a smartphone and the internet, including when voting in presidential, parliamentary or local elections," Zelensky said during the presentation of the Diya [Action] mobile app in Kyiv, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on February 6, Ukraine launched a Diya mobile application, opening access to some government services online.

Ukraine, epicenter of corruption. Vote by phone. Hell, Iraq runs better elections than I see anywhere else. In person, paper ballot, dip your finger in purple ink.

That would be ambitious, alright. I don’t trust smartphones much and hope they don’t end up with a smartphone botnet.
