I spent 20 years working for a privately owned
residential Tx facility for at-risk kids. You
can bet I’ve seen and been involved in numbers
of runaway cases. I would sure love to know the
back story of these kids. Often they believe that
they have a destination that will keep and protect
them. Sadly, if that were true they would not
have been in their existing situation. That they
felt the need to run away from an adoption situation
makes me wonder because kids have a lot of say-so
when it comes to granting adoption. I would be
surprised if the kids were not found quickly if
they haven’t already been found. Pajama attire does
not bode well for planning unless they had stashed
clothes at a secret location. And, I have seen
that happen.
Poor kids.
Something is not right in that home.
