The guys at Corporate probably chuckled, but the lawyers didn’t. Nowadays, any opportunistic jerk can find a skanky lawyer and idiot judge, and your company could be broke.
Keep Trump for a few years and get all the Dem judges out of there, and maybe things won’t be so stupid.
