Minor point here. I wouldn't label Benicia as being in the Eastern part of California. It is in Northern California by Vallejo. Otherwise, the posters at the site are asking the right questions. Which Democrat politicians benefited from this?

I wouldn't label Benicia as being in the Eastern part of California. It's in the Eastern District of California, a judicial district.

Another point. Was this company granted or loaned money from the original Obama stimulus program? If not, then the headline is not accurate. A general tax credit to promote green initiatives is no different than a tax credit to buy old cars or any similar policy objective.
If they didn’t get money from the Obama stimulus package then this is ENTIRELY on the perpetrators, not Obama. Did anyone check to see if there was campaign money donated by this company or couple that was out of the normal limits?

Carpoff made a big mistake. He should have filed as a candidate for President, then he would have been immune to prosecution. He clearly wasn’t in the Obama inner circle.

Sort of what happened in WA with a power scheme where the gov’t enticed people to invest then pulled the plan, kept the money.

Jeff Carpoff found out the hard way you have to pay of the right people in California or things go very bad fast.
