Turns out they just can’t play yet.

This city is all in mourning. I’m seeing laker flags on cars. People wearing jerseys. This has hit so hard. Even for me and you, non fans. So sad and we just can’t believe it. Today I am feeling like I could change the outcome if I wish hard enough. I could just go back in time and tell that pilot to set it down in Van Nuys and call them an suv and driver for the trip.

It doesn’t help that we drove past the crash site yesterday on the way home from the beach. There was a vantage point where people were going up with flowers and memorabilia so we got out to look. You could see the triangle of earth with all the debris dotted about. Sounds ghoulish but no one was like that. Calabasas was in mourning. Everyone was respectful and quiet.

Lakers will play at home on Friday...But, Lakers players had to take Tuesday off...

Shauquille O’Neill cried during the TNT Network Kobe tribute on Tuesday night. I do remember he and Kobe not getting along in the past...But, that was a long time ago.

I do ask myself also what if Kobe decided to travel by car?
He could have rented two nice SUVs...
Who knows? People die in car crashes as well...
I hate to accept the idea that bad things could happen to a person even though he/she takes all the necessary precautions...But, bad things could happen to you even though you take necessary precautions.

I live far away from Calabasas area...I don’t think that I will visit the crash area any time soon. I do want to see the mural showing Kobe and his daughter...It is somewhere near Downtown Los Angeles.

I never felt this sad when Michael Jackson passed away...I did feel sorry for his kids.

Partner, it was tough hearing that Kobe and his little girl had died. Also, Altobelli whom I followed when he got to play for the SF Giants and his wife and daughter died in that crash. He played his college baseball at the University of Houston.

I never follow athletes after they finish their professional career but this guy Altobelli has to be the best JUCO Head Baseball coach ever since he won the National Title quite a few times. Also, Altobelli helped a lot of good baseball players playing in the Major Leagues and they had a lot of good things to say about Altobelli being a great mentor.

It is so sad to say the least but they need to have all aircraft to fly with reading instrumentation when it was so foggy in the morning. Everybody knows that L.A. is very foggy in the morning.

Kobe and his family attended the Church of Angels that same morning and he and his daughter were in their church pews 20 minutes before the Church service started. He and his daughter had gone and taken communion before the Church service which started at 7:00 a.m.

We are all in shock at this tragic accident crash.
