Kobe Bryant died in a helicoper crash in Calabasas Sunday morning ... TMZ Sports has confirmed.
Kobe was traveling with at least 3 other people in his private helicopter when it went down. A fire broke out. Emergency personnel responded, but nobody on board survived. 5 people are confirmed dead. We're told Vanessa Bryant was not among those on board.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.

He should NEVER have been flying in the conditions this morning, it ALWAYS burns off in the afternoon WHY would he take that chance and just not wait a few hours just STUPID!!!

That would seemingly be consistent with an engine problem if he was trying to land.
The S-76 has a ceiling of around 12,000 feet. Why would any pilot be flying that low under those conditions?

Deification is a natural element of the processing of death. I'm not a fan, and yet I understand it. Don't go kicking the anthills of those folks, they are sad enough.

I have no idea..supposedly this was engine failure, and if that was the case, the fact that it was so gloomy outside, he probably couldn’t see where to land..I remember as a Laker he used to fly his helicopter from his house to Staples Center, and people worried geez what a risk, what if he crashes it..and now here we are

KFI radio reports Rick Fox called in and said he was not on the chopper. A few sources had said he was.
All the more reason I admire Tim Tebow.
Of course being upfront about his Christianity probably eliminated a lot of chances for temptation to come his way, although I’m sure he still faced a lot of it. So happy he’s married now.
