Kobe Bryant died in a helicoper crash in Calabasas Sunday morning ... TMZ Sports has confirmed.
Kobe was traveling with at least 3 other people in his private helicopter when it went down. A fire broke out. Emergency personnel responded, but nobody on board survived. 5 people are confirmed dead. We're told Vanessa Bryant was not among those on board.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Kobe was great player but I never liked his style. Forcing shots and not passing to open teammates. It’s easy to score thousands when you shoot as much a she did. I never considered him a team player. And I took Shaq’s side in the Kobe-Shaq war.

That’s a ridiculous statement.
He was a good family man for all of his career. He had one moment of weakness.
When he was a player he did not go out and party. He did not sleep around. He would be in the practice gym until late at night.
He was dedicated to basketball and his family. He was embarrassed and ashamed of Colorado and he worked very hard for his wife’s forgiveness. He and his wife survived and became stronger together and he loved his girls.

That makes sense..Thousand Oaks is VERY close to Calabasas, my cousin lives in Simi Valley, same general area

Shocking news. I feel bad for his family, and the other dead and their loved ones. Helicopters give me the willies.

Kobe never gave up and often played through injuries.
He worked hard to be the player he was and inspired thousands of kids to do the same.
