I never understood the anti-Markle hate. I can understand it coming from the Brits; they’ve been down on their royals marrying Americans since the Wallis Simpson affair. But Americans? If they’re happy I’m happy for them. God knows the world could do with more happiness.
As for Megxit, meh. Harry is sixth in line for the throne, not first. If he wants to forfeit his ceremonial duties that’s fine as long as he carries through with his promise to forfeit the privileges and taxpayer money that comes with those duties. At the end of the day it’s the Brits’ taxes that support the royal family, not mine.
