It’s a great idea until the day you need 24 hour nursing care.

In the meantime he will save lots of money to pay for the nursing care.

Even smarter for him to get his plan into the media so the Holiday Inn does not toss him.

Bad news. Holiday Inn can throw him out at any moment with no warning.

They could, but there are always other hotels, and why would they toss him so long as he’s paying for his room? He’s one of the few customers that has no incentive to steal the towels.

One I required 24 hour care I would have them throw me over the side.

Well, one would hope he is setting aside some money for the future when he is older and decrepit. Why would Holiday Inn throw him out? He’s a paying customer and a decent guest.

A nursing home is a last resort. Living in one is extremely confining and you won’t like being treated like an invalid.

Unless you’re one, assisted living is a far better for most older people.

I just want help when I ask for it and I don’t want to be smothered like I’m incapable of looking after myself or in making my own decisions.

I don’t regret moving from a nursing home to an assisted living residence.
