"Proven fast that eating soy based foods makes the body produce more estrogen which will make you gain weight. More estrogen in the body will also override testosterone in males making them more easy to control."

That's something that rarely gets discussed in Vegan threads. Soy for protein, along with phytoestrogens in many veggies, can really screw with the male endocrine system. It's long been known why body builders eat mostly meat and fats. It works.

Aside from your "control" thing, show me a muscular Vegan male, and I'll show you someone who is cheating. Also, Vegans usually are eco-weenies, climate alarmists, social justice types, free stuff for all, and basically socialists with totalitarian tendencies. Basically Hippies.

Plus, I read weekly where parents are stunting their child's growth and both the parents and children are sickly. There are criminal proceedings happening all the time with these Vegan parents. Mark my words: This fad will be seen as another giant failure by the leftists. Gluten adverse folks are reading too much into the effects. People with celiac disease are the only ones affected. Unfortunately, many people like me, simply have digestive problems with various foods. Beano and/or Lactaid before eating those foods works!

‘why would you choose the one made from an animal if the alternative tastes the same?’

someone once gave me a serving of tofu turkey...with a ton of real turkey gravy added, yeah, it tastes something like turkey...but in reality it is coagulated soy milk, similar to the rennet custards of old, but without the flavoring; there is a low ceiling for a decent taste...

it should be noted the usage of rennet will someday be obsolete; rennet requires the slaughter of days old calves, which some people think is peachy keen, but to a great majority of sane people is entirely untenable...but the point is, anyone eating cheese produced using rennet (all cheese ever consumed until very recently) was participating in animal slaughter...

I don’t care if a person is a vegetarian or a vegan, just as long as they don’t get in my face and demand that I acknowledge that their way of eating is superior and that it is my ‘duty’ to give them special ‘rights as an oppressed minority’ and become a vegetarian as well.

Human’s digestive tract is fore-shortened, relative to great apes of similar body mass. Cooking plant matter makes more nutrients available with less energy expended for the digestive process. Consuming meat with pre-concentrated nutrients provides a further leap in efficiency.

That lower energy investment for processing the food intake enables fueling a large brain, which consumes close to one-quarter of calories ingested. Meat in general, not just fish, is the critical brain fuel.
