Police said around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday they observed three 2020 Corvettes turning onto Lovers Lane and accelerating heavily.

According to the arrest report, a red Corvette reached 120 mph in the left lane and a white Corvette reached 100 mph in the right lane. The posted speed limit on the road was 45 mph.

After they were pulled over, the men told police they were GM employees and had recently left the Cue Time bar.

GM should give those employees a raise. You can’t buy that sort of advertising.

Next they’ll be arresting Jack Daniels workers for drinking in a dry county.

Hollywood actor Steve McQueen and autoworkers of the Ford assembly plant have vehemently apologized for their irresponsible film "Bullitt" and the way the 1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback was depicted. McQueen said the car chase scene showed "great insensitivity" both to public safety and to the environment. Ford employees who produced such a non-green, gas guzzling monstrosity have been terminated, in an agreement with the United Auto Workers.

Didn't offer to buy the police a drink. Not a good start to the encounter.

And police offered to race them in their Tesla like the officers not long ago who gave up their car chase when the Tesla police car fizzled out and ran out of electrical charge. The suspects couldn't stop laughing.

A police officer was forced to call off a high speed pursuit after his Tesla electric squad car – the nation’s first - ran out of power. Fremont, California Police had been chasing a suspect along the highway of the Californian city, reaching speeds of up to 120mph. September 26, 2019.

That is why they have capitalized on the name three times.

I owned a 2008 and was shopping the 2019 when I got the Roush.

True. I think Marconi first said that.

I heard once when Marconi first built a working prototype radio his friends turned him in as a mental case. He claimed he could hear people not in the building talking to him and he could talk back to them. No one believed it.
