Believe it or not, FIVE Trump paraphernalia stores recently opened here in Massachusetts.
I went to visit one three days ago, and purchased a magnetic $5.00 Trump 2020 bumper sticker to put on my car. I knew that eventually some lefty might remove it.
However, I didn't really think that in less than 24 hours someone would steal it from my OWN apartment parking lot!
Anyway, I want to buy a (cheap) video camera that I can put up in my car so that I can catch the bastard when again put up my spare Trump sticker.
The thing is, the camera must have a battery because the car is not running when it is parked over nite.
Any advice?

Try a game camera.
Most cheap dash cams have a motion detection mode.
However, I have never used on this way, only ever set them up to run when the car is in the traditional dash cam way. But I think the motion detect will work if you plug the dash cam into a cigar outlet that is always on. Most newer cars will have at least one of each; ignition powered outlet (only when car is on) and battery powered outlet (always on).
Call the police and have them open an investigation and request they conduct a stakeout.

Blink requires Wi-Fi, the car must be parked within Wi-Fi range of the apartment, or if the camera is in the apartment, the car must be parked within view.

Rig the motion detector to turn on both the camera and your car’s alarm system, that would be good!
Might be a good idea to think through what you’re gunna do when you find out who it is. Rage in the moment may not have a good outcome.

Yeah, buy another 5.00 magnetic sticker, and remove it from your bumper, and store it in your car, when you leave your car unattended. 8>)
Cheaper all the way around. Besides the cops will do nothing when you provide video evidence, except perhaps look at you sideways. If you take matters into your own hands, you will just open yourself up to trouble that will potentially cost you a lot more than 5.00.
