Cowboys and Eagles have a big rivalry, don’t they?

And as the southern part of Jersey is close to Philadelphia, aren’t many of his former constituents fans of Philadelphia teams?

So I can believe the Eagles fans would give him a hard time.

Christie and I are about the same age. I grew up in Connecticut. Growing up in the 70s, our fathers were Giants fans. In school, none of my classmates were Giants fans, the Jints were too awful, and the NFL had already become a national brand. Students picked from the teams that were hot then, Steelers, Cowboys, Raiders, Dolphins, Vikings, Rams. The Cowboys fans were always the most obnoxious, and Reagan was from California, and I liked the Blue and yellow horns, and didn’t like the AFC at all, so I picked the Rams. Christie is one of the obnoxious jerks who picked the Cowboys. The Eagles were as bad as the Giants, and someone from Newark wouldn’t even consider them just because of location. Philly is almost a different universe to most in northern NJ.
