Yes, it does. When I first heard about this my immediate thought was the spelling was probably changed by a spell check program from Comey to Corney. I went on my word processor and purposely typed Corney and spell check came up with suggestions to replace the word. Why would all those documents at the link I posted spell his name as Corney? The only logical explanation is because FOIA requests are gathered automatically using a keyword and using a spelling variation would cause it to be passed over on the search. I read that other names of importance have the same spelling errors, as well.
How many times has a FOIA been made, were told the documents dont exist then only to be found a a later date?
