27-year-old Paul Stephen Otto, had allegedly put him in a chokehold in an attempt to steal the victim’s car.
Otto then fled the scene in his silver Volvo sedan and was later located in front of the Norco Police Station where officers attempted to arrest him. He fled towards the intersection of Hammer Avenue and First Street where he crashed into another vehicle, totaling his car.
No one was injured in the crash, according to officials. Otto was taken to a nearby hospital where he was evaluated and then released to police.
He is in the Robert Presley Detention Center where he’s being held on suspicion for several charges including attempted murder and cruelty to a dependent adult, according to jail records. His bail is set at $300,000.

I think if you’re doing things like the article says he did you’re likely NOT even talking to your parents or they abandoned you centuries ago and are part of the reason he turned out like this.
How do we EVER know if the parents were good or awful?? :)
99 percent they’re awful or were not even around.
We think parents are all like us.

Back in the day in Philly a mugshot like that would get you a stern talking to by the attendant officers. When you woke up.
Some of the worst people I’ve ever known had the nicest, kindest most dotting parents. And that was the problem, their parents give them everything possible and when the kids got katty-whompus with the law they kept bailing them out. Many of the parents were driven into early graves by their own kids.
YES the EXTREME!
I see that also a LOT with single moms.
Too many feel so guilty that they let the kids do whatever they want and I see the self pity grow in the kids.
And then that self pity grows into rage and anger and violence sometimes as they get older.
I’ve seen it firsthand and it’s ugly.
I used to think Norco smelled because of the dairy farms. Now I’m thinking maybe it was just this guy. XD
